Happy! I won the European Kite Tour stop in Austria!
After the World championships I was so motivated to do more races. Podersdorf showed a nice combination of strong wind days and light wind days, so we had it all. I had no idea what to expect of the other girls because I never raced with them. So I just focussed on my own race and tried to keep up with the guys. And that went really well, because at the downwind mark I was often in 6th or 7th position between the guys. (Girls did one round and guys two)
The event itself was great. There were around 15.000 people visiting the event area and the parties. Lots of things to do in daytime and DJ's and bands in the evening. Not much partying for us unfortunately, because we had a skippersmeeting at 7 am on Sunday. Pfff, that was early! BUT, the wind picted up and we had 2 light wind race in the morning sun. Fun!
Rolf had a good event as well. He became second after being third till Sunday. But Sunday he was on fire and won the first race and became second in the 2nd. Enough to overtake Dirk and finish behind Björn.

The bike is a black rieldne conquest pro with white bar tape and a silver arione saddle. It has oval handlebars with a fsa stem and seatpost. It is set up 1x9 with dura ace components a mavic front wheel and shimano rear wheel.Hey, tell that guy I saw his bike at DCCX this weekend. Matter of fact, I must have been drunk or something, because I swear to God it looked like there were 30 of them in the Men's B race, one after t'other. Gotta cut down on the Chimay. If he's looking for it, I suggest he go to the USGP / Mercer Cup, or to Whitmores in a few weeks, and bring a sock full of quarters. When he sees the guy on the Redline Conquest Pro, white tape, silver Arione seat, he should cold cock the SOB, grab the bike and run like hell. That's what he deserves for stealing a unique, and uniquely accessorized, whip like that Redline.
